Dealing with "old" websites in the transition phase

More and more web pages have been transferred to the new, responsive layout. The relaunch team is working in the background to restructure the remaining main menu items and create them in the new design.

During the transition phase, it is unavoidable that websites in the old and new layouts will appear side by side. In addition to the main menu items that have not yet been edited, this particularly affects the websites from the third navigation level onwards, which are maintained by the decentralized editors.

If your area has not yet been relaunched, please continue to update and maintain your web pages in the old layout as usual. This will also make it easier to rebuild your websites, because: For a relaunch to be as uncomplicated as possible, it is an advantage if your websites are in an up-to-date and cleaned-up state.

Please bear in mind that not all websites can be tackled at the same time in this complex process. In the coming weeks and months, the relaunch team will gradually approach the individual areas.

The CMS editors who are responsible for the websites of the faculties, the individual degree programs and the 70 or so departments and professorships are currently being trained.
