Viadrina's new news portal goes live in December
A new news portal will go online on 2 December 2024 and bring together articles from the previous Viadrina logbook and media information from the European University. The news portal is thus a central information point for all target groups of university communication, such as students, researchers, employees, media and interested members of the public. By presenting the content in a clear and user-friendly way, it should contribute to a better visibility of the Viadrina and its profile topics.
The news portal offers articles on research, studies, teaching and campus life as well as information on awards, appointments and emeritus positions. Picture galleries, video and audio material, quotes and links to other internet sources complement the articles.
A special feature of the news portal is the filter function. Users can narrow down content according to categories such as research, teaching or university life, according to profile topics and according to organisational units of the Viadrina. The search can also be refined using a calendar tool. The new news portal will initially include content from the past six months; older articles can be found in an archive. In future, content will be available in the news portal for two years and then moved to an archive. For topics for the news portal - from research, teaching and campus life - please contact the Department of Communication. You will find the new news portal from 2 December 2024 on the communication page as well as a jump to it below the current news on the Viadrina homepage.
